    Preschool Classroom Volunteer

Volunteering is no longer a causal activity for people who have leisure time, but rather volunteering is an acceptance of the fact that community services are a means to enrich our lives and to strengthen the communities we live in. Volunteers in our Preschool Program at Centennial Infant and Child Centre are paid in six figures S-M-I-L-E-S!

We are recruiting passionate volunteers who are looking to make a difference in the lives of children with special needs. Each volunteer is assigned to one of our children and receives ongoing training and supervision to ensure the successful implementation of the individualized program needs of the children. Our highly qualified staff rely on the contribution of the CICC volunteers as they are a vital part of our organization and they make the work we do possible.

Conveniently located just off the St. Clair subway line at 1580 Yonge Street (Yonge & Heath) CICC volunteers come from various communities across the city.

In accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), Centennial Infant and Child Centre is committed to ensuring that all recruiting processes are non-discriminatory and barrier-free. If you require an accommodation, please advise the Recruitment Team in advance of attending the interview/practicum.

All interested applicants can apply on-line. Qualified candidates will be contacted to come in for an in person interview and facility tour. We look forward to receiving your application!
